People wishing to refresh existing knowledge of Dementia and ensure you have relevant, up to date information to provide essential support and care to dementia sufferers and their families. This course aims to give an understanding of dementia and how to respond to the behaviour of people with dementia, the training uses the principles of person centred care and looks particularly at communication and the effect of the environment. How behaviour may present itself, the reasons and strategies we may be able to use.
